Despite the wet weather, the band enjoyed their first Christmas Concert of the season at Sissinghurst Castle on Saturday 23rd November. The band felt that it was a real shame that the marquee wasn’t quite big enough to fit band and conductor and so by a majority of 30 to 1, it was decided that the band would huddle under the dry-ish covering and let poor old Ian stand out in the rain.
Luckily for the band our next two outings are indoors !

There’ll also be live entertainment, with the Cranbrook Band playing on Saturday and Kent Police Band playing on Sunday. Our shop and restaurant will be open throughout the weekend for any retail therapy and winter warmers that you might need.”
