Two years on from our fantastic concert with Trombone Maestro, Chris Thomas (See report), it was time once again to feature a guest soloist for our annual fundraiser concert supporting Demelza. This year we were very excited to announce that our guest for the evening of the 14th October would once again be from the world famous Cory band, and this time would be their Principal Cornet player, Tom Hutchinson.

On a very hot Saturday afternoon where temperatures were reaching the high 20s (Degrees C) the band were lucky enough to be playing under a marquee so were mostly out of the direct sunshine.
Once again, the late May bank holiday weekend saw the band venture to distant lands in order to partake of the local food & drink.
On a bright but slightly chilly afternoon of the 14th May, Cranbrook Town Band once again made the trip to Deal to play on the fantastic Memorial Bandstand to entertain locals and visitors alike.
CTB’s quintet recently performed at a Hawkhurst Primary school assembly to mark the post Covid resumption of free brass lessons for pupils and staff at the school.
