The band played at its annual concert in Brede again on 5th December. This year, as last year, the concert was held in the lovely St George’s Church and was well attended by a lively and enthusiastic audience. The programme, which was well received and is shown below, consisted of a mixture of Christmas music, audience participation carols and light concert music. The four soloists performed really well as did the rest of the band.
Saturday 22nd December saw a section of the band performing at the Halfway House in Brenchley. This was the band’s final appearance of 2018 and marked the end of a busy and very successful Christmas season with numerous concert and carolling engagements throughout Kent and East Sussex.
The 14th December saw a first for both Cranbrook Town and all of its members when we too part in a concert with the Rye Wurlitzer Academy.
Wittersham The Band performed its final indoor concert of 2017 last night at St John’s Church in Wittersham. The band played really well to a good sized and appreciative audience.
