Another Contesting Success CRANBROOK Town Band completed a successful season by winning a trophy at Southern Counties Amateur Bands Association autumn contest at Folkestone. The first prize Botrill Memorial Challenge Cup and £150 was presented for the band’s mail test piece Triptych, composed by Philip Sparke. A new arrangement of the hymn Blaenwern won third

A Selection of Prizes from our recent Contest Outings 1992 SCABA Autumn Contest Ian Lanceley (MD) holds the “Denton Cup” for 1st place in the SCABA Third Section and the “Holness Shield” which he won for the best musical interpretation.
