CTB’s quintet recently performed at a Hawkhurst Primary school assembly to mark the post Covid resumption of free brass lessons for pupils and staff at the school. Prior to the pandemic, Robin Traves had provided lessons on behalf of the band, and this mantle will now be taken on by Dr. Charlotte O’Neil. Successful applicants will have weekly lessons on instruments provided by the band with the intention being for them to join the CTB Training Band as soon as possible.
The Training Band rehearses at Hawkhurst Primary School 6.30 on Thursdays prior to the Main Band rehearsal and its most able members stay on for the Main Band rehearsal.
